Everything We Know About the First-Ever 2025 Kia K4

Opposites Unite with the All-New 2025 Kia K4

Kia continues to set new trends with automotive design and technology. While the automaker has been offering new and unexpected electric vehicles, Kia proves it can deliver with gas-powered vehicles, too. The 2025 Kia K5 is the latest model built for drivers who want a well-equipped vehicle priced under $30,000.

As the replacement for the popular Kia Forte, the K4 will be available in a handful of trim levels including the LX, LXS, EX, GT-Line, and GT-Line Turbo. Drivers from Atlantic Beach to Baldwin will soon find the new Kia K4 sedan at Southside Kia Jacksonville.

Fun-to-Drive Four-Door Sedan

Like the Forte, the new Kia K4 features will include two available powertrains. The standard engine is a 147-HP 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 132 lb-ft of torque. As the Forte GT replacement, the K4 will feature the GT-Line Turbo with a satisfying 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 190 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.

The standard engine comes with an intelligently variable transmission, while the 1.6-liter turbocharged engine features an 8-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. The GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo models include a multi-link rear suspension to enhance the sporty driving experience.

Kia will outfit all K4 models with the latest suite of driver-assistance features including Lane Keep Assist, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, Forward Collision Avoidance, Pedestrian Detection, and Intersection Assist. The system uses a haptic alert system in the steering wheel when a warning is needed. The top GT-Line trims come with Evasive Steering Assist, Highway Drive Assist, Blind-Spot Collision Warning, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.

Innovative Design and Tech Features

The Kia K4 interior will have more space than the already-roomy Forte. Straddling the line between a compact and mid-size, the K4 will have a class-leading 38 inches of rear legroom and 37.3 inches of headroom. On the outside, the K4 measures 185.4 inches long and 72.8 inches wide.

The unique wide stance and fastback roofline show off the door handle built into the C-pillar and the trunk with 14.6 cubic feet of storage space. On the inside, the K4 has 30 inches of digital instrumentation with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a premium Harman Kardon audio system.

For driver convenience, the K4 will have over-the-air updates and a Quick Control swipe/gesture system enhanced by the “Hey Kia” voice control command. Comfort features include available heated and ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate controls, and a large power sunroof.
